1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using ShowBite's platform, applications, or services (collectively, the "Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the Service.

ShowBite is operated by Rahul Dayal, a Sole Proprietorship registered under the name SHOWBITE (GSTIN: 10CIBPD9495F1ZG), based in Patna, Bihar, India.

2. Description of Service

ShowBite is a QR-based food and beverage ordering platform designed for cinema and multiplex environments. The Service allows customers to scan a QR code, browse the menu, and place orders directly from their seats or the cinema premises.

The Service is provided to two categories of users:

• Customers — individuals who use the platform to browse menus and place orders at participating cinema locations.
• Cinema Partners — cinema businesses and their staff who use ShowBite to manage and fulfil orders.

3. Customer Obligations

As a customer using ShowBite, you agree to:

• Provide accurate contact information when placing an order.
• Pay for all orders placed through the platform using the available payment methods.
• Not misuse, abuse, or attempt to defraud the platform or its payment systems.
• Not place orders that you do not intend to collect or consume.
• Comply with the cinema's own rules and policies regarding food and beverage consumption on their premises.

4. Orders and Payments

All orders placed through ShowBite are subject to availability. Once an order is confirmed and payment is processed, the order is sent to the cinema's staff for preparation and fulfilment.

Payments are processed securely through Razorpay. ShowBite does not store your payment card details. Accepted payment methods include UPI, debit cards, credit cards, and cash on delivery (where enabled by the cinema).

Prices displayed on the platform are set by the cinema partner and are inclusive of applicable taxes unless stated otherwise.

5. Cancellations and Refunds

Orders once confirmed and sent to the kitchen cannot be cancelled. However, if an item is unavailable or the order is not fulfilled, you are entitled to a full refund. Please refer to our Refund Policy for detailed information.

6. Limitation of Liability

ShowBite acts as a technology intermediary between customers and cinema partners. ShowBite is not responsible for the quality, preparation, or delivery of food and beverage items, which are the sole responsibility of the cinema partner.

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, ShowBite shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from the use of the Service.

7. Intellectual Property

All content on the ShowBite platform including the logo, design, text, and software is the intellectual property of ShowBite and is protected under applicable Indian laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without prior written permission.

8. Privacy

Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference.

9. Governing Law

These Terms of Service are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India. Any disputes arising from these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Patna, Bihar, India.

10. Changes to Terms

ShowBite reserves the right to update these Terms of Service at any time. Continued use of the Service after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised terms.
