ShowBite ("we", "our", or "us") operates the ShowBite platform including the customer app, staff app, and manager dashboard. This policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information.
We collect your mobile phone number for OTP-based login. We collect order history including items ordered, amounts, and delivery preferences. Cinema staff profiles may include a profile photo uploaded voluntarily.
We use your information to process and deliver your orders, provide customer support, and improve our services. We do not sell your personal data to third parties.
We also use your phone number to recognize you the next time you order, whether that is at the same cinema or a different one that partners with ShowBite. Once you have verified your number on ShowBite, you will not need to enter an OTP again. This means your name stays linked to your number across every cinema partnered with ShowBite, not just the one where you first verified.
Your data is stored securely on Supabase infrastructure. Payment information is handled entirely by Razorpay and is never stored on ShowBite servers. We retain your data for up to 2 years from your last activity.
The ShowBite Staff App may request access to your device photo library to allow staff to upload profile photos. Camera and media access is used only for this purpose and is not used to collect any other data.
